new contract rather than renew

My contract is due for renewal, talking to EE i was told they couldn't match the prices online - but i was free to order a new contract and cancel my old one

i could then move mobiles etc and all would work fine! seems too good to be true!

You could face about 2 weeks downtime while your current BB is cancelled with EE & a new BB is set-ip.

Why would you need to move mobiles?

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Why would it take 2 weeks?

don’t need to move, just get discount today for having both mobile and broadband with Ee which I wouldn’t want to go away!

You can't have 2 orders on a line at once, 1 to cease BB & 1 to start BB.
