Zyxel Wireless N300 VDSL2 Setup Help

Visitor

I'm trying to get my third party router setup to replace my Smart Hub 2 as i can't put it in modem only mode. I purchased a Zyxel Wireless N300 and after running throught the wizard and inputing the correct PPPOE username and password (Which i got from a phone call with EE) I still have a red internet light on my modem and no connection to the internet. Does anyone know how i might remedy this?

I'm currently on the Fibre Plus plan.

Thanks!

You no longer need to call CS to get your BB Username & pwd. You may use the standard BT creds. In Using & Configuring a Third Party Router you'll find everything you need to set up your own router incl. the BB creds.

Please show us the WAN settings of the router.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)
