Does anybody managed to successfully use wifi enhancer service?
I subscribed the addon (monthly subscription paid additionally to the main package). Initially it didn’t show up on my app. When it finally showed up, I couldn’t switch it on. I installed app on another device and it allowed me to switch the work mode on, however after doing that, the speed of all devices (including my phone used for teams calls and my work laptop with vpn) went down drastically. Streaming devices stopped working completely, the speed for those devices was really low, not allowing to even browse thorough options.
I saw somebody suggested a fix of disabling some security options which didn’t work for me. And frankly it shouldn’t be a solution if I pay for both services separately and I’m allowed to buy them together without any warning that they contradict each other. Hopefully it’ll be reviewed by sales team.
I was unable to switch the wifi enhancer off, the app didn’t allow me to click ok it. After few restarts it allowed me to get into some kind of dashboard that had an error about not being set up. I ended up calling EE who denied any problems with my broadband so they couldn’t help. I was told the app belongs to 3rd party so they couldn’t advise me with that either. I ended up cancelling wifi enhancer add on completely as all my issues started since enabling that service.
After cancelling and few restarts everything returned to normal.
I’m curious if this service works for anybody, are there any success stories about improved performance?

@notinthisworld There is not a lot Forum wise about the EE Enhancer product, and all you will see when you search is complaint's about it NOT working, the theory behind it is good, the implementation may not be, QOS as it is trying to do on the fly as a ping enhancer is best left to expert's, a badly setup QOS is NOT a good thing to have!
