Having paired the EE WiFi Extender 7 Pro (SW40J) with my EE Smart Hub 7 Pro (SH40J), the light on the extender is solid aqua. Therefore, according to EE's documentation, this means that the two devices are correctly paired.
However, in the EE app (on iPhone), the extender shows as offline.
What's interesting is the fact that, at the time of writing, it additionally notes that it's been offline for 22 minutes.
In other words, if it's been offline for a period of time then it must have been online at some point otherwise that noted period of time would be nonsensical.
Thus there seems to be a contradiction here. Solid aqua indicates that all's well but the app indicates the opposite.
I have seen posts similar to this but I can't see a resolution. It's such a shame that EE relies on pseudo technical people in their "Community" to [try to] solve their problems rather than offering actual support.

Log in to the router on the internet browser use the address 192.168.1.254 , go the advanced tab , then the wireless tab at the top you'll see a "WIFI Extenders" tab. here you will see all of your WIFI extenders & your hub , what you will find is your extenders are on & in the table at the bottom it will tell you what devices are attached to extender & hub , the issue is in the app for some reason it reports that the extenders are offline when they are infect not , its always been the same for me too , the app is a bit flaky in this respect , if you can get used to the web interface its much more in depth & a lot more reliable than the app

Thank you.
You would have thought that given the vast amounts of money that EE gets from their broadband subscribers that they could afford to employ people who actually know what they're doing when building an app for iPhone.
You would also hope that they could fix a recent error whereby it is not possible to connect to the admin console using Safari (works fine using Chrome on MacOS but that's non-standard).

@SIGHUP As @baron75mk3 say's the app can be a little oopsy at times, best get used to the web interface if possible.
