How many people have got the new WiFi 7 router. I got text message and been on phone none stop. Been told should be getting new router last week. Still nothing and when go on chat. Get told not able to have it. Even though I’m a new customer and have the 1.6gb package and pay £79.99

Is it normal for the email you get when it coming to say that a “Smart Hub Pro and Smart Wifi Pro” are on the way? Hoping they just haven’t updated email templates or whatever.

@cliffy37 What wifi7 device will you be connecting?

@JimM11 My PC, it connected perfectly with WiFi 7 on my third party router connecting with multiple bands and having a aaggregated link speed. With teh WiFi Pro it is only connecting to teh one band though, is there a toggle somewheer in teh router software?

@cliffy37 If there is then you will have to try and find it, not many out there, did your third party have a switch to enable, would assume it is just use BE mode, and each device - router negotiate with what they are capable of doing. Is your PC the only wifi 7 device that you have to compare with?

You have to remember you have an ISP router that you have limited ways of setting it up.

@JimM11  PC is only Wifi 7 device i can test it with. Looks like to me though that teh EE router either does not support MLO or it just is not working. Will do some more research and probably contact EE although i am not sure they will be able to help

The Lan ports at least are running at full speed so that is good but until i see MLO working then i am less then convinced that this is actually running as a WiFi 7 router

@cliffy37 You know that the PC can do it, as confirmed with your third party so half way there, it's going to be hard as the 1.6Gb/s is little lite for full testing on wifi7, so unless there is a major speed difference between the two devices connected wirelessly. Not sure if you seen this link, but copy incase.

Pretty confident it is not connecting to any MLO as none of teh tell tale signs are present on teh PC WiFi properties. Does anyone else have a PC or Laptop with WiFi 7 that they can check to see if Link Agreegation is working?

On 1.6 Busiest Home package and I’ve not heard anything about getting the Wifi 7 router. Are they still being rolled out? Anyone received one recently? If not, perhaps I’ll have to chase them.
