Hi all, since changing from Plusnet to EE broadband on 25th Aug' my email will not send, although it still receives. The current settings (that used to work) using POP3 'incoming' is: mail.plus.net / port server port # 110 (which is ok) . Outgoing' is: relay.plus.net / server port # 25 which now doesn't work. I've been in touch with Greenby (via webmail) who now run the email system, but after two weeks I'm still waiting for their help/advice.

@tamahaac you can only use relay.plus.net if you are connected to PN's network, you should be using mail.enmail.co

@tamahaac : PN have handed over the running of their email to Greenby. The settings you should be using for POP3 are:
Incoming server mail.plus.net Incoming port 995 Outgoing server relay.plus.net Outgoing port 587 STARTTLS Yes SMTP Authentication (only needed if you're sending emails from a non-Plusnet Internet connection)* Yes
See Plusnet email FAQs > What other settings do I need?

'Thanks' out there to all those who have tried to help, but nothing is working. All was OK until EE took over my broadband from Plusnet. 'Incoming' mail no problem - it's just the 'Outpoing' settings that are giving me issues. My next line of enquiry will have to be with EE - which I hear can be difficult..(?)

EE can only tell you what PN themselves publish. Have you changed the Outgoing port to 587 STARTTLS or failing that 465 SSL? If that does not work then have you changed Outgoing server to mail.enmail.co ? Does that work?
Greenby themselves say in their Greenby FAQs :
Do I need to change any settings?
No, your email settings will remain the same. You don’t need to do anything to continue using the service.
That isn't perfectly true. You can't use port 25 Outgoing when you are not on PN BB.
