I have just switched broadband from BT to EE (I know it's the same company, but when we ditched the landline they moved us to a new broadband tariff, and send us out a new router to use).
We have an annex in the garden, that I beam the broadband to using a pair of TP-Link Pharos CPEs.
At the other end I have Billion router broadcasting wifi (with DCHP server off).
The setup worked well under the old BT Hub5.
Now devices which connect through the annex wifi show up as "disconnected" when I check the EE Hub status, even though they have access to the internet. This would not normally bother me (so long as they are actually connected, what do I care what the EE Hub thinks?) but we have solar panels on the annex, and the controller in the main house needs to talk to them via the wifi link. Since the switch in hub this has not been working, and I'm wondering whether this phantom "disconnected" state is responsible.
Anybody else used TP-link with EE Hub, and seen similar issues? Any idea how to investigate?
