TNT Sports is not showing on the EE TV guide?

Hi,

We just connected my 86 year old step father, to EE broadband and with what was supposed to be the TNT sports package on his EEbox (with recording). We were told that TNT would be easy to set up, and all accessible from the TV guide for him.

He gets very confused with apps, etc. All he wants is the TV guide to show what he has - no apps.

Connected router via aerial and set up TV. Everything working, channels there. Logged into BT, activated Discovery+ sports, there. 

But, TNT is not showing on the EE TV guide?

We got the TNT on the discovery app on his TV, and on my Laptop, but he needs it in the guide, or he gets stressed.

Called Help (spent 90 mins), they said it should be around channel 430ish, but that doesn't currently exist on the guide; it just goes from high 200s to channel 555.  Tried lots of things. We tried unplugging, retuning, but it's still not in the guide.

Also, when I go into the channel management, it says 168 channels, but  0 subcriptions. During set up it said 178 channels found.

Any ideas?

Will it take a day or two to be added to the TV?

What logo do you see in the top left corner when on the EE TV Box main menu?  My guess is it'll say YouView, meaning the broadband hasn't moved to EE yet.  The subscription channels will only become available when the broadband has migrated - what's the agreed activation date?

I'm not with him until Friday now, so will look when there and check. But, I think it is YouView.

It's a brand new service with EE. He's got BT Essential package with TNT sports. Router is EE.

Activation date was 21st July (Monday).
