I am looking at moving from Sky to EE for my broadband.
I currently have my own network setup using Unifi which gives me great wifi coverage throughout my property.
To get this working with Sky I had to replace the Sky router with a Drayteck Vigor 130 in bridge mode to eliminate double NAT.
Is it possible to use the same setup with EE as I am looking to move from Sky?

@TrickyT It is possible to do, a lot depends on what type of Broadband package that is to be requested and available to you. Plus be aware, EE will only support the equipment that they supply which is a similar situation that most ISP's do. If you wish to supply more info, please do.

What Unifi setup have you got ?
I currently have 1.6Gbps EE service on my UDM SE with full speeds

@TrickyT Yes, many of use 3rd party routers. You will need to change settings to PPOE, and enter username and password.
You can find more info in the following Help page.
However do make sure you get the EE router in case of issues - Help Desk will not know much about your one.

Thanks for all of your replies.
@JimM11 this is the same with Sky, they only support their own equipment. I found if it wasn't;t on their script of questions and answers, they could not help and would escalate it.
@pyrotenax I only have the basic UDM (base) as 55 Mbps is the fastest connection I can get so there was no need to get UDM which was the only one available at the time. May upgrade to the UDM SE as I am thinking of installing some cameras.
@Mustrum thanks for that page, I did do a search but didn't find anything.

I have just seen this on the setup page.
I suppose the only way around this will be to use the EE router and put up with 'double NAT' or take the plunge and not have a landline.

@TrickyT I also left sky on March this year, the reason for more info, is that Broadband availability and changes are happening so your current fttc may be sitting as fttp available and therefore the push would be to change, so your option changes with that.

@JimM11 it isn't about the speed, but the fact that my prices will increase by over £25 over the next few months.
I am aware that everyone ins doing a CPI + % increase, which is another pet heat of mine, so looking at the alternatives.
I think the EE broadband + TV package will be about £30 cheaper, but wanted to make sure I can use my existing setup.
We have FTTC and FTTP will be a long way off yet. It was originally planned for 2022, but the latest update from Openreach is 2026!
I could go for EE Mobile Broadband as I can get 5G where I am with speeds of over 100Mbs, but they have the dreaded Consumer Price Index rate of inflation + 3.9%.
If I wanted outright speed then Starling would be my best option.

@TrickyT Yes it's all to fluid at present, i dropped the landline that's one of the issues with router's now everything is heading digital, but have EE primary, Asus on Nat, mesh waiting in RP mode at present, powerline in use, so it's all possible, fttp was march last year, still waiting but at least OR got CBT up the pole and currently hive of activity around the area, so who knows when, it all takes time.... Don't blame you had same issue, sky increase was 18.5% in April, they just could not see it, so they said take it or leave, so took second option and left after 20yrs. There loss, not mine.
Link below shows also new EE changes and charges effective from new dates, so you want to open and read.
