Upgrading broadband

Hi,

I am an existing customer and my current broadband package is due for renewal.  I have seen a package online with EE through the upgrade option from my email. This also stated i can keep my existing smart hub. I proceeded to accept online but it is asking me to select an installation date when i already have an EE router.  Is this normal or do i have to have another installation seeing, as i'm an existing customer looking to stay with EE?

It's the installation of the changeover. You may v. well not see any change in your home.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@Cassie81 Can you say what package from and now too, like 40Mb/s before now going to 150Mb/s, you may be in a copper area going fibre, but you may also be having a Landline needing to go Digital, there is NO choice in doing that switch off is Jan31st 2027 without fail..... EE have to organise OR to get it all done there end hence the installation date that may be another possible answer....
