I have recently called the support team and asked to change my broadband plans from the fullFibre150 to the fullFibre 500 since i got a email about my contract ending. i still have a BT router do i need a EE one? and since i called up my wifi speed dropped from 100-150mb to 50-60mb download.

Or do i have to wait until my 1st new bill payment?

You don't absolutely need the EE router. Many on here swear by the BT SH2 at that speed, tho' it only supports WiFi5 but sufficient for 500 Meg. However the BT SH2 won't allow you to use the EE app to do WiFi Controls.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
