When I try to access EE Hub Manager using address 192.168.1.254, I keep getting error message that something went wrong, with error code CHOP3-800. See the screenshot. Any advice please?

@SimonJMBrown Trust me i read your post, you just may wish to do it a little bit different. OK and a refresh may work, but it is normally a new router and FW not updated, memory leak you will never prove!

@SimonJMBrown It is the most common fault on the router OOB, goes away on the FW update, and may have seen one on the very odd occasion.

Not sure if it's related but I got that code from my hub manager, and two new hubs later, it turned out it was my power adapter that was the fault. I know, weird right. The guide said surges are usually the cause, and you must always use the new adapter with the new hub, which I didn't, it still powered on and went aqua for about 5mins, but then green, then flashing green. New adapter and all was well. I hope this helps someone, I think I've scratched all the hair from my head 😅 always use the new leads with any new piece of equipment 🍻

@BuzRok They say *bleep* happens, and at least they stopped at a couple off hubs, hope the hair grows back!

Using adapter it came with, no difference. Can't use admin unless reset router. Couple days later no access again.

It's the hub/software/firmware that's going to be the problem

You would think an error code would be the smart approach to pin point and sort errors efficiently, it appears not, absolutely not in fact. So bleeping vague and frustrating, I was seriously close to joining someone else, especially after all this stuffy heat today, luckily I spoke to someone who gave a bleep, and while it took some time to get to the bottom of it, we did eventually, get to the bottom of it. I joined them because of their gaming pitch, but every rep I have spoke to over the last 18months still can't give me any knowledge on port forwarding the hub for my xbox. Lousy really..

Bleep happens. Good name for something 😆
