We arranged to change from BT to EE .  Got new hub etc etc.  fellow came to do transfer.  Haven’t had the use of the landline since then.  Numerous phone calls to EE .  Someone coming here next week again.  Really inconvenient , we have internet connection.  Anyone had similar problem ?  Wish i had never got involved with the transfer, nightmare for us.  Help!

@BuntyH Who is the cause of the problem, BT failure or EE failing to setup correctly if you know? Currently how is your landline connected?

Same problem here . Engineer visited. No landline, internet not working properly and speed a lot less than BT. Didn't want to change but advised no choice as one of the BT Halo hubs was broken

Nobody seems to know what the problem is.  Router not talking to phone has been mentioned.

@BuntyH Are you plugged into the back of the router, into a remote adapter, or still plugged into the original phone socket.

What EE or BT router do you have currently installed,

@SallyF2 If you have multiple issues with broadband/landline etc, then you do not have the same fault. Can you open and post your issue separate.

We have very limited knowledge about all this modern technology so we have to rely on professional help on this one.  I cannot answer your question, sorry .  Think we will have to wait until next friday when someone will (hopefully) come and sort the problem out.

@BuntyH Fully understand, does become daunting and there has been a lot of changes with regards to the old landline's as they were called. Things do go wrong especially when forced to switch from one supplier to other, and then all the new tech is automatically forced upon at this time. Hope you get it all sorted on Friday.👍

Surely you can see where the cord from the phone is plugged into?

As for the router read the label on it or post a pix.
