I currently have BT Full Fibre 900 with Halo 3+ and 3 of the black WiFi discs. When I was in an EE shop recently, upgrading a phone, I was persuaded to change to EE Broadband as I would get faster broadband speeds and it would work out cheeper for me. This I agreed to.
I have now received an EE Smart Hub Plus. Will this hub work with the black BT WiFi discs or can I stick with my BT router and the discs?

No, the black BT Complete WiFi discs don't work with the EE Smart Hub Plus ( SH31B) (SH+) router. It's the white "High St." Whole Home discs that do work with the SH+.
You could stick with the BT SH2 to continue using them, as long you don't have to give it back.

Ok thanks, I'll stick to the BT SH2 and avoid changing my WiFi setup.

If it turns out they do want it back you get get a new SH2 from eBay for less than £25

@June58UK There is 60 day's if requested for any of the BT Equipment that is possibly may be requested to be returned, so do not rush into making any rash decisions at present you have plenty time.

Iwan - Are you me?
Identical experience here. The app is utter **bleep**e. I have logged into it a dozen times today to check my smart wifi devices. Sometimes one of them is recognised but it has forgot the name change i amde to it. The next time it has reandomly called a device “extender” whcih then disappeas on my next login oh then i get 2/3 devices yay but when i change a name it wont save.
needless to say only one of the three devices actually extend the wifi. The other two, on the rare occassion they show up do nothing.
i am calling and cancwlling with these halfwits in the morning. The sevice, on the phone is atrocious. The devices are utter garbage. You onow everyone slags off BT bit like you i had the old router and the black discs for 6+ years where they juat boringly continued to work. I dont have the time and patience in life to be a guinea pig for a company that cant be **bleep**d to develop a stable product
irony of ironies as i tried to submit this post i got a pop up asking for a review which wiped my first attemot at the post. They are utter garbage

Dont do it! Cancell your order. The EE hardware and support is garbage!
The EE kit wont work with the black discs and kiss goodbye to the boring reliability you had with BT. EE cant make an app relaible enough to get the kit configured in the first place
