Sky to EE switching offer

Hi

I’ve switched from Sky to EE broadband due to the £300 switching offer.
The switching team are asking for a pdf final bill from Sky but I don’t receive bills like that - I’ve sent them the email that Sky sent me with the Early termination charges and a screenshot from my Sky app showing the debit adjustment charge. Can anyone suggest how I resolve this?
Spoken to Sky and they can’t/won’t send me a pdf final bill. I can’t be the only person in the world that this has happened to.

cheers

@Benki Do you know for sure that SKY do not produce a final bill? When you conclude the sky and they close down access to your account, then getting to the bill is very hard, there is a time period where you do get that bill, can download as a pdf file and keep it, but not sure if that is good enough for EE, the Bill along with Proof of payment to Sky will be were it is that EE have the problem with, and they certainly will NOT make it the easiest off things to do. Good luck getting it all sorted if you can!🙄

We did eventually receive a final bill from Sky and EE did reimburse the broadband cancellation fee. We are still with Sky for TV services because they held us to our contract term which expires next June but kindly reduced the service to the minimum monthly fee

@Benki Have just had a look at the message that Sky sent, and on it explicitly they say that BB is ok, but the TV side will NOT be dealt with in any way shape or format, now i did not have to deal with it, only issue was getting the refund back from sky as it went into an Automatic Credit against anything sky, so i had to call SKY and get the final money they owed to me transferred back. It's NOT an easy process and EE will do what they can to with hold out for sure....

Currently having the exact same problem. I've sent them the email, the final bill in pdf and the last thing they wanted was my account number. Now they are asking for 3 page pdf bill from Sky. Seriously thinking about going back to sky or trying virgin as its ridiculous. Makes me feel they are putting me off so they don't have to pay me! Next stage will be a complaint and then to the ombudsman as the sales man in the shop told me I would be credited with termination fees, no problem!!

@Nat1235 Does the sky bill contain 3 pages, if so can you not just send to EE?

The Sky bill was 1 page which they've had along with the email from Sky regarding termination charges and my account number. All of my bills have been 1 page plus 1 line on page 2 with the issue date. I can't send them what I don't have. Wish I'd stayed with Sky now, trying to save money and have ended up really out of pocket now. Best of it is I only went in the shop for a dongle for my mum. She ended up with a sim card and we had to buy the dongle. Wouldn't recommend ee to anyone now.

@Nat1235 They maybe looking also for the previous bill and lets them follow the process! Never easy for sure...

They are extremely awkward.
My suggestion is get a bit shirty and to insist on talking to a manager, the call centre operators will do all they can to deflect but stick to your guns. When I finally spoke to one I emailed him directly the bills and stuff that I had from Sky that had been previously turned down and he resolved it in about 2 minutes. It is impossible to get through to the appropriate department and you get short shrift by email so don’t bother with them at all.  A shame that they can’t be more accommodating and helpful but they are well aware that you have right on your side. Hope it works out.
