Rubbish Broadband

Anybody else had issues with broadband after switching from Virgin to EE. I was with Virgin for years.  They promised me that they would pay to end my contract and guess what, that was another cost I incurred.  Since my move to EE I have spent more time on the phone to EE, i was advised to buy a WIFI extender, which I did, at my own expense, and the stupid thing hasn't made any difference.  Its so frustrating being out of pocket each month for a service that is totally rubbish.  Kevin Bacon should be sacked for his false advertising.

  Any advice how to get out of this nightmare would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to leave sooner than later.

What are the issues you are having with your EE BB?

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

EE will pay up to £300 of your Early Cancellation Fees upon sight of your previous ISP's bill showing them. You can claim this online @ Switch Broadband to EE and we'll pay your leaving fee. It will be applied as a credit to your EE bill.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@JanSef1 As there is no history to any posting,

1. When you moved did you follow all the parts and guidance for the VM to EE change over plus submit it all within that guidance.

2. Why where you advised to go buy a Wi-Fi extender, did EE not say we have one, it will cost you x amount and do it that way!

3. If you are in contract then you have the period to endure! If you wish to leave sooner EE will let you do so but with penalty that they will impose with the requisite period enforced!

If you have not already done so you can fill in the complaints form and go down that avenue as an option!

@JanSef1

Once you've ordered and activated EE Broadband, email the final bill from your old supplier to switch-team@ee.co.uk, along with your EE order number.

if you’ve been billed again by virgin you might want to make sure they know you’ve switched providers. EE should of done this though but getting another bill sounds like that didn’t happen.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
