Signed up for a £34.99 broadband deal but being charged £39.99

I signed up for an offer of 500mbps broadband for £34.99 but the contract shows £39.99. I have tried the online chat and phoned EE. They said they would look into it and adjust the contract accordingly.

I received a text today from EE saying "Hi, it's Dylan from EE. Unfortunately we have been unable to adjust the price of your current package.
Please call us when you are free and we can look at alternative deals for you. Thanks.”

The reason I switched to EE was because it was a better deal than was offered by my existing provider Virgin. If I had known it would go this way I would have stayed with Virgin!

I took a photo of the offer before signing up:

Has anyone had a similar experience? If so what can I do next?????

@leaderofourboat You need to call them and see what can be done now.

Do you also have a phone service as the quoted price is without - it would usually cost an extra £5 for the phone service.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean home phone? If so no I don't. I do have a mobile contract with EE but didn't see anything about a different price because of that. I was logged in when viewing the offers....
