Plug broadband into phone line whilst waiting for Fibre install

Good Hello.
I have signed up to have EE Broadband, and have received the router.

BT have given 30th November to install Fibre, this would be 3 months after the order. I guess theres nothing i can do to speed this up.

I am switching from Virgin Broadband and im lucky that i went through the switching process rather than the 30 days notice otherwise id be without internet for 2 months.

Am i able to plug in my router into my phone line to complete the switch over so im not over paying over the odds with Virgin Media? - i understand that my speed would be less

Are you having partial Fibre (FTTC) from EE installed now with the hope of moving to Full Fibre (FTTP) end Nov? Have you been given a 'go live' date for the FTTC?

You'll plug the router into the master phone socket now for FTTC and move it in Nov for FTTP to an ONT modem fixed to an inner wall when FTTP is installed.

I am having Full fibre installed, I assume i already have Part Fibre.

I havent been given any dates from EE other than the 30th November date from OpenReach. An engineer came out to assess the property and decide where they will have to dig up from the street to the house

Then you won't be switching to EE from VM until 30th Nov when you'll get Full Fibre. You'll stay on VM BB until then. The phone line doesn't come into it. Part of the installation of Full Fibre will be the fixing of an ONT modem box to an inner wall to which the router will be connected by Ethernet.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.
