Setting up EE FTTP with UniFi router

I’m trying to set up my UniFi dream router with my EE FTTP, I’ve followed all in instructions in this guide and I still can’t get it to authenticate. I have a smart hub 2 at the moment that works fine with the service, but when connecting to the UniFi router I’m getting no service. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

@RudolphUcker Step 4 and the Full Fibre PPoE settings on the wan interface. The document has now been corrected so NO VLAN at all when connected direct on a ONT.....

How Do I Use My Own Router for EE Home Broadband? | Broadband Help | EE

Hi Jim - thanks for swift reply.  However, i dont get that far.  The UDM-SE is new and in its initial setup phase.  I dont get far enough to configure anything.  I am like step 1 where i have turned on the device and plugged in the CAT6 from the ONT.  Its at this point i get that there is no internet connection message on the phone app...MAke sense?

@RudolphUcker : You shouldn't need a Net connection to config a router. It can be done offline on the router itself.

@RudolphUcker Makes sense, the UDM will not make any connection until you set up the wan ppoe creds from the link above. You may just have to do it that way with a web portal connection to the UDM first.

UDM-SE setup use this in a search to see what is required. If not connect the Wan to Lan off the EE Router and setup that way first, then adjust the UDM to suit.

Thanks @JimM11  @XRaySpeX .  I went for the option of connecting it into the EE router and it sort of took over from there.  After a bit of poking about i managed to configure using the settings further up the thread and all seems to be working now.  Greatly appreciated your help and swift responses.... many thanks !
