I have had a CCTV systems for 7 years and Reolink (Great!) for 5 years on BT broadband and they worked without a glitch. I had no choice they just moved me from BT to EE - had broadband services from BT since the internet started. Just worked okay. Anyway since being switched over - whatever that means, my Reolink CCTVs won't connect. They are hard wired to my old BT routers. Done all the switch on off /re boots/firewall/reconfigures even switched over a spare NVR. The systems work okay on a LAN but it doesn't get out to the internet. I should mentioned I have 2 separate systems on 2 separate BT accounts before, one for home and one for holiday house, 200 miles away. Both became disconnected. I can't access either via my Reolink app on my mobile either. I have done a lot of research but not found anything apart from that EE does not allocate static IP. Anybody had a similar experiences or even better found a solution?? Should I ask for a dedicated EE router? I currently have a BT (latest) version.

@Yooj Did you have a static IP with BT?
If it worked using the same routers as you were on with BT changing to an EE Router is not going to help.
Other that changing suppliers, has there been any other changes?
What is it that is now not working, and is there anything that is?

Thanks for the rapid response. As you can imagine, I have spent the last week thinking and working through this. I didn't have a static IP as far as I knew, although I had a business account many years ago that did have a static IP. I have ruled out hardware problems, changed leads/plugs/cables/Cat5 etc, even used a spare Reolink NVR. Of course the problem exists at 2 sites 200 miles apart?!? on different routers, the one at our holiday home has an older BT router. I have accessed the setup from 2 separate PCs and also tried to access the cameras using the Reolink app on my Android mobile software. I have used these seamlessly over the past few years and the system has , up to now, been very good and reliable. I thought at first that it must be a Reolink 'server' problem. I have downloaded and reinstalled the Reolink apps, none of which made any difference. I worked through the Reolink checklists for 'disconnected' devices. There is nothing on the Reolink forums which sounds like the problem I have experienced. I had wondered about a firmware upgrade or software upgrade. The only obvious common denominator seemed to be the timing with a switch from BT to EE. Although I don't know precisely what day that occurred, I don't access the cameras everyday. I don't even know what a 'switch' entails. I had a call some 3 weeks ago from a 'BT' guy saying I was being switched over, I think he was trying to sell me a more expensive speed package as part of a review. It wasn't a scam call. So to answer your questions, all the hardware is working, I've tested all the bits separately. The cameras just don't seem to be able to access the internet. Local ?Firewall ?Anti -virus? But then why would it affect 2 sites? Any thoughts would be useful!! Its more than I have at the moment apart from 2 non functioning CCTV systems. My home broadband and telephones and PC and mobiles are working as normal, normal speed tests etc. Nothing out of place in the router advanced settings (of my home anyway) I have not been able to check our holiday home router remotely. I can access and play World of Warcraft which relieves my stress about this problem, so the world hasn't come to an end yet!! 😉

@Yooj Thanks for the additional info, alas it has not helped with any more ideas.
However, do you have the model number of the DVR and cameras, or better a link to the manual? Just trying to work out how it is mean towork.

Thanks @Yooj
Limited info there, but assuming you are able to access the NVR and cameras locally, there is a section about accessing remotely and checking NVR Menue Network Network Advanced UID Enabled.
Otherwise nothing else should have changed, especially if you are still using the same routers.

Thanks, I will look at that in more detail tomorrow.
