Hi,

I want to mount my smart wifi disc but to do so I need to remove the stand.  Any suggestions?

Cheers.

Yes and no.  I asked my husband to saw the legs off and while he was doing that they came off from the back of the unit.  Fortunately the unit still works and it is now mounted on the wall.

Did anyone manage to figure this out ?

Hi Charliecritt

Look at the picture posted earlier of the back of the disc.

Whilst you can remove the feet by sliding the plastic piece that holds them in place, you will find that the power supply prevents it from sitting flush with the wall.

The design team clearly did not consider this when contemplating wall mounting them

So I’ve just figured this out if you are able to get a flat head screwdriver and prize open the front of the disk there is a screw inside holding the stand on

Hi Charliecritt

Before you do this notice the power cable sits proud of the back of the disk.

One solution would be to make a further hole in the wall to accommodate it 😠

Yes you are right a recess is needed for the cables

I know it’s an old thread, but this has been frustrating me for sometime. Finally decided to have a go. Had to carefully price the router open, and unscrew the screw stand. Would not know I removed it now.

As you can see, I left the screw in, for you to see where screw would be.  The stand is screwed in behind the light.

hope this has helped!!
