Hi,
I have recently purchased fibre from EE and have seen on my order that Openreach are coming on Monday to do the works outside the house. The problem is my actual phoneline comes straight into my house and is terminated under the floor in the cupboard (accessible through a hatch)
The problem is nobody will be in until Wednesday.
What will Openreach do when they arrive Monday and cant get access to in the house?
Basically the external junction box will have to go inside my property.
Is it possible to reschedule?

The external junction box is indeed external. A hole is drilled thro' the external wall from it an ONT modem box is fitted on the inside wall to which you connect your router. It does not have to follow the route of your old landline.
Consult How Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) is installed for more details.
As Openreach are coming on Monday to do the works outside the house they will have to come back to complete the job.

@Cottonloon1873 Have you received any text message from OR on behalf of EE, if so they detail in the text what is required, it may say as mine did, because of this we need a decision maker aged 18+ to be present, mine was a one part install all done in the one day. Is your install and activation of the fibre on separate time scales. Have a look at the video and you may also get one as a text link depending on who is installing.

@Cottonloon1873 With the outside being done then they may not need to send the text etc, but you will be at the mercy to what they decide to do when you are not there to be consulted. When you do get text about your internal part, watch out for them, they do require response to confirm etc, so it all goes to plan. Hope it all works out.👍
