This is the second time this has happened in less than a year since having the fibre line installed.
Our 900Mbps line is capping at 80-90Mbps.
I have power cycled both the ONT box and EE Smart router, no change.
The last time this happened, an engineer was sent out and the ONT box was replaced because "The LEDs are dim"

I have noticed this Wan Link Speed: 100Mbps - This should be 1000Mbps. Nothing has changed since the engineer was out that replaced the ONT box so this value shouldn't have changed either. I am sure this was noticed last time there was a speed issue.
We get no drop outs, at least none that have been noticed.
If any any other info is needed then let me know.
Thanks

@CraigR as you say, the WAN interface speed should be 1000Mbps.
So do you have another ethernet cable you can use?
Could be it is just not making contact with all of the pins, so a wipe of the contacts and/or making sure the cable is securly connected at both ends.
Is the ethernet cable the correct spec? Cat5e or better?

Thanks for the reply,
The cable is a CAT 6 and I have another CAT 6 that I can use to test, will do so now and report back

@CraigR Takes only 1 of the 4 pins to go bad, for drop off, or bad negotiation of either device to force WAN down, but that usually clears with power off either the ONT or the EE router. When they come back up WAN will jump back to 1000 if they work together. Cable is the starting point for sure as @Mustrum has suggested.
