New Pro Firmware r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 for router and extenders.

This morning there is new Pro router firmware r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 and it starts by saying use HTTPS which is then says is not available. It then requires the admin password to get into any level of access. Now testing out what it does.

It allows you to set your own DNS servers in DHCP.

It still does not let you lock the 2.4G WiFi to a channel, it keeps reverting to Channel 11

Unfortunately yes still shows the Plus instead of the Pro in the app.

My app has always shown the pro with the correct image even on older firmware versions.

Anyway there may be a way out, in our village in our street OFNL were pulling fibre into the ducts, so hopefully an alternative to Openreach and Virgin.

I thought that it was all down to what router EE have you down for on their system.

I got my pro router and initial extenders from EE and bought some more extenders from a third party as EE would not supply any more. All have updated their firmware.

Hi, has anybody else still not had their Smart Hub Pro updated yet? I'm still on r2.64.7-R-1303938-PROD-1

I also bought mine from Ebay.
