Moving broadband from Bt mind contract they want me to pay the remaining charge

Do I have to pay the fee or is EE going to pay this fee otherwise I’ll have to  stay with Bt as I can’t afford this fee even though I’ve been with EE a for years

@cmorton43055   why would EE pay off your BT contract - they are both part of the BT Group.

 

That said, EE do have an offer to  pay up to £50 on receipt of a final invoice from another supplier. I think you are probably a bit early to make that worth your while.

EE will pay up to £50 of your Early Cancellation Fees upon sight of your previous ISP's bill showing them. You can claim this online @ Broadband Contract Buyout from Old ISP.
