Hi all,
I am moving to a new build house this week and the developer has informed us that the house has not been connected to open reach network yet due to infrastructure issues and will not be connected within the next couple months.
Currently I am on a 2 year contract with EE which will not be able to move to new address as no broadband will be available.
Would I be able to cancel my current contract without any cancellation fee being required?
Thanks

Hello @thanosbeliotis ,
Welcome to the community,
I would suggest you speak to customer service about this and they should be able to let you know.

@thanosbeliotis short answer is unlikely.
But do give customer services a call, they are the only ones who can answer your question.
But also chase the developer, maybe get a reduction in price for failing to have essential services available - or whatever, I am sure there will be something they can do if they want you to move in sooner.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your new addy? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your addy.

The above appears on BT site.

- Smart Wifi Pro range is awful - BT/EE refusing to pay for ONT Move in Broadband & Landline
- Move address or Migrate first? in Broadband & Landline
- 1.6 gbps broadband and EETV in TV
- Breach of contract terms ? No TV for four weeks in TV
- Called to move home, switched from EE to BT - WANT TO CANCEL! in Broadband & Landline
