Did you ever get a solution to this? We’ve got the same issue and EE are saying there’s no problem their end.

@Nothanks15 What happened when you put all the old equipment back on the EE Service?

Our issue is different in that we switched to full fibre (fttp) at the same time but they didn’t change the hub or anything to begin with and we can’t change back to the copper wires unfortunately 😞
We got a new ee hub after reporting the issue (that they couldn’t detect) and have tried that and the bt home hub 2 we had before with the issue persisting.
had an engineer from openreach out (after much insisting from us that only the fibre had changed and not any of our hardware) but they couldn’t detect any issues. (-15 reading on the light coming in to the ons)

@Nothanks15 Did they swap the BT Smarthub2 to the EE Version which is named now the EE Smart Hub, see the link below.
EE or BT wired wan out to the lan off the ONT, what speed are you on and is this all a speed issue or like the reported post?

If you can then run a www.thinkbroadband.com speed test and link below like the test results.Your Broadband Speed Test Result | thinkbroadband

yes we got the ee smart hub after we said we were having issues.
It’s actually closest to this issue, (link below) but their resolution was to leave ee entirely so was hoping for another outcome!
my partner streams and had zero issues streaming at 6000 kbps prior to the “upgrade” and now can’t consistently get 3000 without 10% packet loss, despite us now paying more for supposedly better internet.
Download speed is fine, we don’t really need anything fancy there, it’s the upload that’s the issue.
We switched to the 100mb full fibre package and had the issues so ee persuaded us to try their 500mb package (started today) to see if that helped and it hasn’t. Download has increased but no change to upload.

We tried other cables for the red one you mention from the lan out of the ont and that didn’t help either.
this is with a wired connection straight to the hub
though the same issue on WiFi, we wired in to remove that element

@Nothanks15 You got the like for like hub, both are identical in virtually everyway, same internals, different casing on the outside.
All i can do is link this below, since upload is were you need to be looking, the test gives a lot off detail to look at.
Attached screen capture once the picture gets cleared and you can view it.

Don't worry, the images were awaiting approval. I have now done so & they should appear soon.

@Nothanks15 : Please start your own thread rather than latching on to 1 that is unlike your circumstances. I now have done so for you.

Here is ours, though it doesn’t really demonstrate the issue all that well as this looks much better than we are seeing in reality
