I have created a EE account and now trying to link my new EE BB order to it.
I open EE account go to link, try to add my BB ordered number beginning GB2???????.
Message says this is already linked to an account and I should open that account.
As far as I know I only have the one account linked to my email and it is this email used throughout the order / installation of the BB.
I have lost count of how many times I have rung EE for help ... answer is always yes I can see the problem I will send a 'ticket' to technical and they will fix within 5 days.

Nope, got error msg each time I tried.
Haven't tried it again since initially trying back in September.
Can you give me the link addr so I can try it again and if it doesn't work I can provide you with the error msg details so, hopefully, you will be able to investigate further.
Have you evidence that ANYONE has been able to link a new EEBB acct to an existing EE mobile acct?

@BrettC2 : In your online MyEE: Home > Plans & Subs > Manage numbers > Add another number > Link EE Broadband.
I'm just a user like you. I don't investigate these things as such but advise based on my knowledge & experience

I presumed you worked for EE! So, you are just a user? No offence but you asked me for all my details to my accounts when I wrote on here I couldn’t merge my BB account with my mobile..glad I didn’t give them out, not very happy about that.

@BansheeLegend : I'm just a user like you, offering advice to others. It was 1 of the EE Community Staff who must have asked you by PM for some personal details, not me. If you didn't give them they may be hampered in assissing you. That's what they are here for.

Hi & Thanks for your help.
Did what you suggested above and got to 'enter BB account number', entered my number the it said 'Broadband found...The package that you're on means we'll need a few more details', after pressing 'Continue' I got an error screen with some code that said 'error code 500....Quotation violation' !!
This is the same error that I was getting in September when I first tried to link my BB acct to MyEE.
Looks like they have not fixed the problem and I'm not even sure they know about it even after I spoke to online support and they told me they had raised a 'ticket'.
Overall, for a technology company, their website is very poor, clunky and not very clever at all!!
I'm not confident in them fixing this fundamental and basic problem !

I don’t know if this issue is still live but I’ve been having the same problem since early December. One of the many helpful support people I spoke to told it was basically a **bleep**show that nobody seemed to have foreseen in that ‘old’ EE systems can’t talk to ‘New EE’ systems and they were trying to figure it out. Means people like me can’t take advantage of say unlimited mobile data until it is sorted out. Contacted them today and was told it was still being looked into but that they don’t yet ‘have a timeline’.

Got new BB bill today with link to review account...still only showing my EE Mobile account details...clicked link another account and went through some details then got same error as have been getting since September'23!!

Mine now seems to have finally been sorted out by the 'merge team' - but it has been sometime coming.
