My landline stopped working 2 weeks ago. No tone, no noise, can’t be called or anything. I tried to plug a different phone but same thing. I contacted EE by sms (66033, texting PHONE) and got a message about a possible outage that should be resolved on the 11-08-2024 when I’m writing this on the 15 -09. Went online for details as shown but they can only check BB apparently. Tried texting NEXT as advised but it just got in a loop. Tried from the start and got same message. Tried to call 150 but it just sent me back to the sms service. Any idea how to contact a human being?

@Francoise4 try the 0330 123 1105 option 2 then 1 then 9.
Works OK for me, you may also get a text option if calling from a mobile.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm
150
0330 123 1105

@Francoise4 If you are on the new EE system and using DV as the landline, then text to the number, from a registered mobile phone on your account will work, but if older legacy customer this option may not be successful. Follow @Mustrum advice to call EE CS but call volume warning is popping up as extremely busy!

Thank you for the help. Just to update you: I did not have to do anything further in the end as my broadband started to be problematic too and, when I texted again, EE found the fault.
