I now have my new Broadband router and have requested an adaptor. (Not connecting it yet) We have numerous wired land line phone sockets around the house and have 4 separate handsets. Do I need 4 adaptors , one for each phone? Is it possible to connect the router (or the adaptor) to our wired system?
We already have a home network to boost the broadband signal for using mobiles/computers around the house, but I don't think any spare sockets on the boosters can take a phone cable. Are there converters that can convert the booster sockets to accept phone plugs.

You may re-invigorate your existing internal phone wiring by connecting the router's green Phone socket to 1 of the existing phone sockets, preferably the master socket, with a standard phone extension cable. You may have to disconnect the A & B terminals at the back of the master socket from the BT network if it is still live. Then you may plug your phones into the existing sockets as you used to.

If the wiring issue is a repeated query, why isn't it flagged up as a standard query. It might be second nature to you but it is not clear to me.
