Issues with broadband installation

Hi,

I had full fibre installed at my house last week and notice that there is some red thread like material hanging out the box. On closer inspection of the box, I notice that a broken  screw has fallen out of the box and the box moves on the side of the missing screw.

The box is also not on straight.

I have put in a complaint but just curious what the red thread like material is. See image.

Hey there @NFelvis68, thanks for taking the time to flag this. 

Have you heard anything back from your complaint yet? 

Usually your CSP is installed and managed by Openreach, so we should be able to get someone out to get this repaired, but it may be quicker to give our broadband team a call right away so we can get this raised.
