Just drifted over from the BT forums as I have taken the plunge to take up the offer on the "Full Fibre Busiest Home Bundle"
Made a couple of posts on this forum and getting warnings already from other users saying "Stay away" and "Don't bother"🙄
I know people visit these forums to sort out problems that states the obvious.
It goes without saying there must be EE users that are happy with their service.
I know people won't frequent this forum if they aren't having trouble but can anyone lift my spirits a little saying they joined the same 1.6GHz package and it's working perfect without issue.
A quick yes will suffice please or maybe a couple of lines saying how well it went.🙂

Am currently transferring over, the kit arrived today 3 boxes and an engineer is calling tomorrow to set it up.
Currently on BT Full fibre to the home 900mb
Not sure I am going onto the 1.6gbps deal though...think the guy said its still 900mb but I would get better coverage as live in a town house style with a ground/first/second floor.
£95pm
How much is the 1.6 deal?

I have seen that price before as I was looking to upgrade and that was the price for 900 and WiFi repeaters like the package I had with BT and is part of the reason I decided on the 1.6gb package as it was cheaper than a like for like package I had with BT. Crazy that the faster speed was cheaper way to go, I would see if you are still in your cooling off period with EE

How much is the 1.6 deal then?...does it require different hardware?

It used to be 69.99 but with April price rise it just over 75, and that is with repeaters, but no hybrid connection that is extra, if you got the new black smart hub and white repeaters the only other change is to the ONT the white box that you connect the hub too, but that will be open reach visit to change that over

I’m very happy with the service I get from EE. Never had any issues that couldn’t be sorted quickly. I even moved my daughter over to EE as well. I’ve also tried other network operators and none match EE where I live. But I’m also talking about EE in general and not just full fibre packages.

I was with virgin media for just b/band and phone got to the end of contract contacted virgin for deal offerred 50p month saving. Contacted EE who had just provided fibre to the premisses (fttp) at my address via pole opposite. EE offered £12 a month saving as a new customer and saw to everything, came on the date/time agreed, switched my phone line number everything. Broad band basic 150 package and home phone. About 3 to 4 weeks later contacted EE with a query regards getting my current sky sports only (via now) with a loyalty discount from now, from EE instead, got full sports package ie skysports + tnt sports + ultimate+ ee tv box pro which I have connected via my aerial ( this option allows me to record up to 4 channels at any one time .. note can record streamed channels also .. internet mode only allows record 2 channels ) and again EE switched my now account so billing all in one place for £1.30 a month less than my now package on its own. I have since added 2 mobile simms and an ee tv box mini and been with EE for nearly 18 months, never had to contact them never had a problem, would I recomend, yes most certainly will recontract with EE again when the time comes, so yes I'm one of those happy customers you ellude too.
