Whilst I understand EE's annual inflation linked increases in March, but don't agree with them, I have just received a price increase from £30 to £34 without any explanation whatsoever!!! Anyone else experienced similar ...? Needless to say I have now switched provider, especially as EE don't seem to be able to come up with an explanation for this. I was hoping for an answer before I take this to Ofcom (who ruled in my favour the last time I had to contact them re EE!)

I doubt you'll find many people who agree with any price rise!

Ofcom won't rule in favour of anyone, because they don't accept individual customer complaints. You may be thinking of the Ombudsman Services, who is EE's ADR provider for unresolved or deadlocked complaints.

Sorry, my bad, it was in fact the Ombudsman who ruled in my favour, not Ofcom as stated!

Unfortunately it seems the only way to contact EE is via phone, but only if you're prepared to listen to 'Greensleaves' etc for half an hour or more!
As I've been trying, without success, to find out why my broadband has just increased by more than 10% (in November!), I will also need to return my hub as soon as I'm connected to my new provider, hopefully without the problems you experienced...

Btw, bristolian, I wasn't looking for anybody who agrees with price rises, the opposite in fact:
My question was whether anybody else on here has been hit with an unexplained 11% price increase on their broadband bill, in December...!?

Hi @Not-happEE
You'll have to hold on to speak to someone.
Has your broadband contract term ended?
Thanks

According to EE my contract ends 14th of December, which is why they now want to charge me an early exit fee of around £6.20...

Hi @Not-happEE
I asked in your other thread has your broadband contract expired.
Thanks

As mentioned in my reply to your question in the other thread, my EE contract expires Dec 14th, which is why they now want to charge an early exit fee of around £6.20....
