I fixed it by turning off the plug's power, waiting for the light to turn off and then turning the plug back on.

To all experiencing BB down:
Is it the BB as a whole dropping or just the WiFi connections? Do Ethernet connected devices stay working? What colours are the light sequence when it happens?
BB issues are rarely widespread but specific to your own line.
If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area. You may also Report a Problem there.
Text HELP to 66033 to get EE to test the line & see what needs doing.
Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)? What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed?

Is this all the same problem or just a day in the life of an average EE fibre customer?
29 days with EE after a faultless 2 years with Talktalk and we've had no internet since Tuesday.
I keep hearing there is a major network issue but I can't read or hear about it anywhere else.
For 2 days the app has been telling me the problem is fixed or nearly fixed or fixed yesterday or maybe fixed by sunday 18th ( I have the screenshots for this). I mean, if you believe the app, I have had 3 different engineers visit my property to fix the issue, which is apparently a network problem (no engineers have been hurt in the making of this post)
Tech support aren't really tech support are they? after they put you on hold (in live chat) to consult...again with their Openreach consultant who I don't think really exists and still, no one has been able to give me any idea of what the issue actually is.
All I know is that the Openreach fiber box has 3 lovely green lights on it just like it always has suggesting it is connected and online but the big horrible EE thing has been flashing orange, into a 3rd day. I'm pretty sure I know where the issue is.....
