Hi @Bethie1995

Are you payg or pay monthly contract.

If you change your payment date youll be billed for the difference between payment date on a pro rata basis. This is the same as any contract or consumer credit contract.

Thanks

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Just a broadband router changed billing date last month to end as it fell in middle of month which was ackward for my benefits and all my other bills end of month easier for me but did ask for a £70 bill for a normal £42 one i get everything go3s up but thats overkill

I refuse to pay a £70 bill when it should be about £45 dont know why it jumped that big difference and i changed billing date after i paid last bill so it shouldnt go up by £30 no way thats too far if this keeps up i will find another provider 😡

Hi @Bethie1995

Anything outside of your plan will be itemised on your bill.

I suggest you speak to EE CS on 150 as there is no account access on these forums.

Thanks

@Bethie1995 You need to look when your last bill was paid, if you changed date after that payment, then you would have a skipped bill for 1 month/1 payment until bill was sorted, so payment of £70 does sound kind of in the right ball park.

Hi @Bethie1995,

If you look at the breakdown of your bill, does it cover a longer period than usual?

Changing your billing date can often cause a one off higher bill.

James

I actually paid last month late and it went up this month after changjng date of bill but not after i paid bill after i knew id be charged for it but not by £30 bill from £45 last month to 70 this month massive leap no way am i paying fhat ridiculous amount thats over kill i paid nearly end of month very late as it messed with my benefit payments
