Intermittent WiFi access

Clyve
Visitor

The BB WiFi is frequently intermittent - we have the Smart Hub 7 Plus. It comes on intermittently and can go off for up to over 2 hours. It comes back on after turning off the power for a short time. Trying to get through to EE in nigh on impossible. Does anyone have a contact email or know anyway to get through to them. Even trying to text help to the text number doesn’t go through.

At what f/ware level is your router? There is a known issue with 2 of EE's routers whereby the WiFi is flaky. EE are rolling out a f/ware fix for it. Check EE Hub firmware versions to see if you have the latest.

@Clyve If the text will not work then you possibly have a non EE mobile contract, email is just not a method of EE contact for anything, if you have a landline and your EE Hub is up and working dial 150 from it to get through to customer service. Otherwise the Free Phone number from @XRaySpeX sig will get you there, hopefully you do have a mobile signal that is functional at home! 8am onwards to get through and they say early is the better time for getting through quicker.

The EE Hub 7 Plus version is not mentioned as being stability problematic currently, there may be another reason for your issue. The text numbers if you do have correct are HELP to 66033, GUIDE to 66033, and a few others but those two would be best.
