@Juanny : Don't you have the cable from the replaced router? If not, phone CS for 1.
Did EE send you a replacement router as the age-old knee-jerk reaction to any fault by hazarding a guess that it would fix a broken cable?
Are you on Full Fibre (FTTP) or partial Fibre (FTTC)? Is it the Ethernet cable for connecting the router to the ONT modem on the wall or DSL cable for connecting the router to the phone socket (respectively). You can always get such cables from sites like Amazon.

@Juanny Why do you think EE would know the actual fault for a cable being severed? Replacement hubs may not always have everything in the box as used and sent out but ideally they do have everything there.

When somebody telephoned me Wednesday evening she logged a complaint but it could have all been avoided. It appears some workmen cut through the broadband cables and I am surprised EE didn't know this, many homes were affected. If EE had known it would have saved me hours of phone calls and sitting waiting.
I have been supplied with a replacement Hub which may have been unnecessary although my broadband seems faster and more reliable although no connection cable was in the package, I am using the one from the previous Hub which I assume is OK.
I am in dread of another fault developing as I don't have hours and days to waste with my health problems.
