Just had replacement hub delivered but no red end cable included??? I had no broadband or phone for a couple of days. Was told engineer would visit waited in 5 hours no visit. Problem started at 1.30pm finally got a human call at 6.30 pm. ???Turns out something had severed fibre cable. Why didn't EE know this??

@Juanny : Don't you have the cable from the replaced router? If not, phone CS for 1.
Did EE send you a replacement router as the age-old knee-jerk reaction to any fault by hazarding a guess that it would fix a broken cable?
Are you on Full Fibre (FTTP) or partial Fibre (FTTC)? Is it the Ethernet cable for connecting the router to the ONT modem on the wall or DSL cable for connecting the router to the phone socket (respectively). You can always get such cables from sites like Amazon.

@Juanny Why do you think EE would know the actual fault for a cable being severed? Replacement hubs may not always have everything in the box as used and sent out but ideally they do have everything there.
