Hidden Network - Unable to Connect Laptop

Peasey1976

I've recently switched to ee Broadband. All my home devices have connected with no issues, other than my laptop. It's not showing as an available network, so assume its the hidden network option. When entering the SSID Name and Password it still will not connect to the network.

Now I've tried all the other options available and still no joy. Laptop runs off Windows 10.

Any suggestions please?

Many thanks

@Peasey1976 If your laptop wireless is not going to show you the Router ssid, then you are not going to get connected. Laptop issue...

Laptop type, does it have an Ethernet connection on it that you can try, EE Router model also?

@Peasey1976   Do you have a device that is able to log into the router, go to the advanced WiFi section, change to compatibility mode/turn off the 5Ghz band/change WPA 3 to2?

Baisically to simplify the settings on the router to allow your laptop to log into it.
