We live in a very rural area and previously had Sky broadband which gave us 2-5 mbs download and 1mbs upload speeds (at best) along a 2km copper wire. So with a lot of investigation we settled upon a EE mobile 5G router.
The initial 3 months gave us 100-140 mbs and 40-50 speeds. Great right!
No, I am unsure why but we now don't last a day without the Q boxes losing connection, we have to reset the whole system. Sky blame the fact that our router is a mobile one, EE say it that the home WiFi is incompatible with Sky Q. We have been struggling for months and EE have also admitted it started after they completed an upgrade.
Further to that, 1 laptop and 1 phone won't connect either and we think this is a VPN issue as they are both work owned.
Has anyone else had this issue or are able to advise please. Both work from home and kids off for the summer is increasing the stress levels. 😃
EE have also said that we will be held to our contract….any thoughts please.

Hi @Pad123
Sorry to hear of the experience you're facing. I totally understand you'll want to enjoy full entertainment at home, especially over the summer.
Are you still achieving the 100-140 speeds, or has that changed?
