Hi there, is anyone else having problem with their EE broadband?

I haven’t had any Wi-Fi all day. It’s not appearing as an option on my mobile phone. It also is an appearing for my TV. It keeps saying that there’s a network error.
My router keeps flashing.

The phone number provided for me to contact for help 07953 966 150 does not work

I tested my broadband. It’s saying it’s fine, but I can’t connect to it.. it said things could be approved improved and I got a message from the number 66033 saying to type CALLBACK if I need some more help. But that number has never worked every time for the past year and a half that I’ve texted that number back it gives me an error
I never had any problems when I was with BT but ever since they merge with EE every few weeks there’s an issue it is so frustrating and so irritating and then I can’t get a hold of anybody and I just have to wait and I’m paying for a service which I’m not getting

Are you guys working for EE or are you just trying to be helpful ?

The reason I say that is becauseI have had no broadband all day. So it is not just that the lines aren’t working it is also that the broadband isn’t working.

and I cannot contact them Because the number doesn’t work, neither does texting so the only place that I can write anything on here.

Does anyone know how we can complain to the ombuds person to get compensation, because the service from EE is always terrible and I am fed up.?

If I file a complaint with EE nothing happens - they Say they will inform the right people And just close the complaint. I don’t hear from anyone.

the service is terrible and I’m stuck with this contract for another year!

I hate EE. I want to go back to BT. Or switch providers. Just fed up.

@NettieLondon   no we do not work for BT, just tring to help.

The numbers do work, although Customer Service is now closed.

My broadband is working ok, so liley just to be yours that has a problem. Give them a call in the morning.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area  to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Okay, thank you for your suggestion.

I really don’t understand it. My broadband has not worked. The router keeps flashing, but yes, it’s saying that there’s good service in the area so I guess it must be my router.

The numbers definitely weren’t working earlier today. I know they’re closed now but I will try in the morning but how annoying is this.

and this happens every few weeks.

I really really hate EE and the service.

never had any issues with BT, but this has been a constant.

so frustrating

thanks for your help anyway

Thank you,

I tried the numbers the following day but the problem was that number wasn’t working the following day. And there was no way for me to reach them as they direct everything to text messages ..

Also the test messages to 66033 weren’t going through as that’s a premium number and they charge a 0.25p for a text to that. So I have had to now pay

i think it’s disgusting that I have to pay to send a message to inform them that the service they are providing has a problem!

When I finally got through then I was told that the issue is not the router. It’s the power adapter connected to the router so they’re going to send me a new one but that’s gonna take at least two business days which means I will not have had any broadband for the past five days.

also I have no idea if it’s on its way because they haven’t sent me a message to confirm and there’s no way for me to track it really terrible service.

in this day and age when we all have to work from home to not be able to work for five days is ridiculous.

No broadband and TV for 2weeks now. Numerous phone calls and they say it will be fixed in 48hrs.This is from the 16th of this month. Worst service I have ever encounter with no updates by email or sms. Roll on when my contract is up
