Hello,

Did you get your money back in the end? I am chasing mine and it’s becoming painful.

Many thanks

louise

No, despite my best efforts not even an automated response to my emails from EE,it was not a large amount but still , every time I see them advertising this 😤

No they bloody won't

Hi @Alma56

Did you fill in the complaints form that @Linzi_H posted? If you do that, our complaints team will be able to check to make sure the correct processes were followed and contact you directly to discuss it.

@Lou_ver - If you've been following the process with the switch team, and haven't been able to get sorted, I recommend following the same advice.

Hope you get sorted.

Chris

Hi All

i have switched to ee fiber broadband as the salesman at my door said i can get more speed and at less cost than virginmedia. i have passed on the final bill to 22 and even received a reply proving I was successful in my application and would be getting £300 back. I have contacted customer support via live chat who said this will show on my next bill.

just received my latest bill and no mention of any refund,,

so far it has cost me £476.30 to leave virginmedia so I'm not saving anything.

and my broadband went down for a week due to an area outage fault and received no compensation and i had to buy a 4g router to get my cctv cameras back online, costing me even more money plus date costs. This was reported on the day or day after but was told engineers are in the area and to allow 24 to 48 hours before rebooting my modem to get back online  so i believe it was not logged,

if i stuck to virginmedia i would of been hundreds of pounds better off and not having to keep contacting ee for updates,

at the moment I'm not saving at all I'm further in debt than before  i switched.

all i am after is the £300 back as promised I don't mind paying the £176.30 knowing eventually i will start saving money on my broadband.

@mrp859163 Does take time to filter through and get applied to your bill, so you may not see it until the next billing cycle, but for sure if nothing is taken out on your DD for payment then you will know, and the -£300 is applied and X amount off months will be Free until the credit reaches zero!

I’ve had the same problem not getting my money back when I switched 2 years ago I have sent a number of different versions of my final bill as each one wasn’t good enough. Still no £300 it’s just a big con

@Matt1757 After two years there is no hope, well outside the time period!

Morning @Matt1757

Thanks for coming here.

If you've been in contact with the switch team and been sending different versions of the final bill, I would suggest getting in touch with our mobile guides to get the switching credit looked into. Or you can open a complaint using the Make a Complaint page and one of our executive guides will get in touch.

Full information and what is covered can be found in the Switching Credit page.

Leanne.
