Hi,  I am having full fibre (FTTP) installed next monday replacing our current FTTC arrangement, got a openreach engineer booked to complete the connection, i am also getting a Smart Hub 7 Pro and 2 WiFi Extender pro to relace my current Smart Hub and WiFi,connectors, these are on the way to me, my question is, do i need to set these up myself or will the openreach engineer do this next week, just a bit afraid of making a mess of everything myself!! Many thanks for any advice.

What you can't do is connect the SH 7 Pro to your current FTTC BB; it doesn't have that capability. You could set up the settings of the router to you preferences free-standing & pair it with the extenders. The OR eng. won't be doing this for you. He's there just to install the Full Fibre, connect it to the router & maybe test the connection on 1 device.
