Hello,
So I gave up, for now, on the Smart Hub Plus due to it's instabilities and bugs, and back to using the Smart Hub (2023) that I acquired elsewhere.
Is this router meant to be able to interact with the App in the same way the Smart Hub Plus does? And if so, how do you make that happen after coming away from using the Smart Hub Plus? Because all I get under the 'Broadband' option is my plan, and a section saying to Setup WiFi Controls which when pressed just buffers for infinity.
Any one got it working with the Smart Hub (2023) (the EE one with the holes at the bottom, or the BT Smart Hub 2 as they are the same device in a different case)?
Thanks.

@WillKirk No it doesn’t work with the EE app. Only the plus and pro router work with the EE app,

It will work with the app, albeit with a reduced set of functionality. I'm not sure if there's any dependency on EE recognising that you 'should' be using the Smart Hub (2023) though i.e. if the setup journey expects a Smart Hub Plus (because that's what EE's records have asssociated with your account), but 'sees' a Smart Hub (2023) then maybe it's throwing its toys out of the pram 🤷

@bobpullen Certainly one way to stop customers flipping between EE/BT styled routers, and also if DV is caught in the loop.
At least BT user's appear to have an easier time now connecting and using the EE app with any reduced functioning.!

Here I had a talk with EE about it and as you will read… not fantastic. Hopefully these images are readable when approved.

@WillKirk Will do, and have a look when they get cleared...
They got through fine and readable ok, it's just going to find someone with the BT Smarthub2 running on it's latest FW, using the EE app and seeing what it's doing or not doing. Posted a few pics up from a few weeks ago on setting up a new BT Smarthub2 on a 40/10 fttc while it was waiting on the fttp pull from OR but it did not happen before i was gone. The BT router that everyone raves about and will admit to never using one, but gave it a 2/10 rating, boy was it a busy little router... See the link few mins for me to go get it. Jim
