EE Broadband APP WifI Controls not working

I have recently signed up to EE Broadband.   My broadband is working fine, however the APP WiFi controls feature and the Wifi enhancer are not available on the app or via the website.   An error message appears and states it is a problem with EE.  I  have spoken with the technical team at EE on two occasions and they have recommended i reinstall the APP and restart the router.  I have now done this many times and the APP features are still not working.   This is very very VERY frustrating!    I am going in circles with the EE technical team and it is not clear how or if this will be resolved.  EE is not living up to expectations.  If there is an issue, i would prefer EE acknowledge the fault and advise when it will be fixed rather than directing me to do the same thing over and over again (i.e reinstall the app).   Can anybody help?   Is this new feature just a myth?

Mine finally started to work although not fully. It works one time and not another. But not sure if this was due to the work of EE technical team or the recent app update. Any progress is better then none!

My app also started to work after latest update (today). But also seems to be limited in additional functionality. Absolutely NO feedback from EE on status, although they must know who the affected customers are - they've had enough complaints from me & I'm sure others.

I did have a follow up call backs recently last one before the app update so I’m waiting for them to call again. But to be fair I’m happy I’ve got any functionality after 6 months of waiting 😂

Got the same issue and after weeks I'm no further forward. I've reported it twice and told every occasion its with back office. Not good enough

Just looking back in on this thread about the Wi-Fi controls. Is this issue still not fixed by EE?. I'm completely shocked ppl are still affected. I was allowed to leave EE free of charge in March this year because of all the app issues. Loved the 900/110Mbps package. But since moving to Zzoomm an altnet in my local area getting 1gig up and down is fantastic. Only thing I do miss is the Wi-Fi controls as the router you get with Zzoomm doesn't have them features. Wish you all well with this issue going forward.

Mine still hasn't been fixed and I don't think it will be fixed anytime soon. So I'm going to start looking around and see what is available for my area 

Thanks for the info very useful.  I was thinking about getting another router that might have better software to manage WiFi controls. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am done with EE in this matter and frankly it is misselling of functionality that doesn't work. I am going to write to Kevin Bacon and tell him he has been duped and is selling a lie....

I had the same issue which is  even more confusing - the functionality works one moment and then stops the next.  So frustrating.  

@David-M Our home broadband moved from BT to EE yesterday. It is working fine but I cannot activate the parental controls in the EE app which is one of the reasons we changed from BT! Are you able to help please?

Sorry you're having problems with the parental controls. The quickest way to get this sorted would be to call the customer service guides on 0330 1234 150. Let me know how you get on.
