@TayGTR : You don't do it on the app but on the landline itself.

You can't turn landline 1571 VM service OFF but when you dial 1571 under Personal Options (2) > Calling Options (3) > Ring Period (2) there is an option to set the ring period to Short (4 rings), Medium (7 rings) or Long (10 rings) to give time for your own answering machine to pick it up.

Found that in the app but it didn't work, it said something along the lines of please try later, its not your fault its ours... blah blah.

edit: In fact just tried it again and same error.  "

I've now blocked my own number from home phone as that where it is pestering me and driving me mad.

I'll try again, but the EE app is just terrible, sometimes it works sometimes not, I had all manner of issues trying to get some sims sorted last year...they are obviously trying to reduce head count and costs by bundling a ton of stuff into the app but it just makes it even more flakey.

Then don't use it for what you want.

I dont want to use it all, thats the thing.

I never asked  for it, and I didn't have it until recently, somebody somewhere just rolled it out without thinking.

I dont think it's too much to ask that it be opt in.

Hi @TayGTR

As @XRaySpeX has mentioned, voicemail is part of the plan, and therefore can't be removed or switched off.

To change the number of rings via the app go to Manage then Home phone then scroll down to voicemail then tap on it and you will be taken to Voicemail Essentials which will let you change the number of rings but sadly won't let you turn it off.

@MikeW26 : I understand from others on here that Digital Home Phone has disappeared from Manage > Plans & Subs. Now only shows Mobile if any, BB & Subs. Is it still there for you?
