Connecting to o.n.t. with orbi rbr 350 router

Hi I have my orbi rbr350 router connected to my EE hub but thinking about connecting directly to the o.n.t box but not sure if my orbi has an intergrated VDSL modem as read the instructions that any capablePPPoE router that has an Ethernet WAN port doesn’t require a modem? not sure anyone done this if so would appreciate bit help.

@Bellboy13 Your orbi is a router, and should be able to connect directly to the ONT if that is what you have. The ONT is a modem, its just waiting on a router to connect to it, VDSL is different so you just forget about that....

Hi Jim11 thanks very much for your advice most appreciated will have a go  setting up my orbi router to the ont maybe i will get better speeds on the full fiber 900 as I'm only getting 400 Mbps to500 Mbps at the moment.Kind Regards Bellboy13.

@Bellboy13 Take it that is wireless speeds you are taking about, if you ethernet test you need to do so to get a baseline for future reference.
