4G wifi Router connections not working

Boomer88

Hi , I’m a first time user of 4G WiFi. I bought an unlimited data package from EE and set it up with a new TP Link MR6400 router. There is something I’m not doing right as the TV works fine for streaming content (e.g. IPlayer) but I cannot get our iPhones or laptop to work. Can see and select the TP Link network on the devices but nothing loads. EE signal strength is fine as phone works fine with normal mobile data. Please help

What's the Connection Status of the router say?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

All router connections are fine. One iPhone works ok, streamed Tv content works fine , but one iPhone and windows pc won’t connect . Both iPhones were new last year

Thanks for confirming that for us @Boomer88.

On the two devices that won't connect, can you try forgetting the network completely and join fresh with the connection passkey again?

With the iPhone, it's worth making sure this is fully up to date, and possibly trying a network settings reset too.

This should be the same steps regardless of iPhone model.
