Brother Printer connected to WIFI

Hi This is a bit of a strange problem. My printer a Brother HL3150CDW is connected to my EE WIFI router. It started throwing out sheets of paper at random times, even when the PC was turned off. Sometimes in the morning it had done this about 10  times over night. I have now taken it off WIFI and connected it by USB. The problem has now gone away. So it seems the router may be at fault. Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?

That's an old printer. Try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that. See whether the problem goes away that way too.
