Trying to switch from BT to EE.

on the EE app prices for broadband start at £26.99 up to £71.99 depending on speed. When I select already a BT customer the only option is £75.81 unable to get a straight answer with online chat or phone call

I was switching to a non-OR ISO so got that running for a few days (at 500mbps up & down) and then ported my phone - only using voicemail though - to a VOIP provider that cancelled my EE broadband & phone. Couldn't really have been smoother. Saved a nice bit of money as well.

Why I left was because I'd been switched from BT to EE without my agreement or knowledge so I felt the need to leave.

@Timbo45

I recently had a similar experience switching to A&A, all went smoothly.

Which router did you get from the new ISP. was it a Linksys - WiFi 6 or 7? Seems many of the alnets use the same type with plenty available in online auction sites, which are easily setup to create a useful home mesh system.

@Mustrum

I did reply earlier BUT...

Anyway it was a Linksys WIFI 6 device which didn't seem bad but I prefer my ASUS.

@Timbo45 Mustrum was (so not sure as EE wilderness now) but i am 100% Asus Xt8's and RP-AX58's mixture off wired/wireless and all in AI Mesh, iPv6 working 100% slight change on moving back to sky! Little Tp-Link powerline thrown in the mix for some good measure!
